Marc St. Louis retired from making traditional bows and harps for custom orders in 2018.
This website was created to share the story of Spirit Talker Harps and honor Marc's craft as Luthier. On occasion, Marc St. Louis can still be found in his Corbeil workshop among the wood shavings.......

Marc built his first harp in 2009. It was a 31-string, leverless Celtic Harp: the arm and pillar are Black Cherry, the soundboard Spanish Cedar, the soundbox Red Oak, the base Black Ash and finally, the feet are Black Walnut candlesticks Marc turned in his high school woodshop…they were cannibalized for the cause!

Later, a wrought-iron Hart (stag) was added to the base; a nod to his wife Anne-Marie’s Irish ancestors. This harp was named the Hart Harp.
